Interview with The Alzheimer’s and Dementia Resource Center (ADRC)

The COVID19 shutdown is especially hard on those with Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease — and their family caregivers.

In another episode of our educational series, North Star Presents, Ignacio Quiñones, President of  North Star Senior Advisors sat down with Edith Gendron from the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Resource Center (ADRC) to discuss the numerous support groups and programs available to caregivers who are caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s and other Dementia-related diseases.

Make sure to watch until the end as Edith provides valuable education for caregivers to include their post-partum research study called the Brain Bank program in partnership with Orlando Health.

If you or someone you know is experiencing the challenges caring for someone with Dementia or Alzheimer’s due to our current situation or in general, please contact the ADRC at 407-436-7750. They can guide you to beneficial resources, programs, and tips to help you get through this time.
