Introduction

Step 1

Introduction

We provide an initial overview of our services and answer any questions you may have. We then typically do a phone screening in which we gather information about your loved one’s current living situation, care requirements, desired senior living location, and price range. We will then schedule a time to meet you and your loved one to conduct an in-person assessment.

Assessment

Step 2

Assessment

During this in-person or virtual meeting, we verify whether or not your loved one is appropriate to reside in an assisted living facility as well as their level of care that they may need. We have a licensed nurse that may evaluate your loved one and answer questions that you may have.

Tours

Step 3

Tours

Once North Star Senior Advisors identifies communities that are appropriate for your loved one, we schedule and accompany you on each tour to answer questions or concerns that you may have.

Transition

Step 4

Transition

Our advisors have a vast understanding of Senior Living admissions requirements. We assist with obtaining proper state-required documentation as well as work with you to ensure a smooth transition into your loved one’s new home. After your loved one settles in, we follow up to ensure that you are happy with your loved one’s new home.

"I believe North Star Senior Advisors were a gift sent from above. Veronica has guided me through EVERYTHING ever since I became the caregiver for my great-aunt and great-uncle. Assuming the responsibility of being a caregiver is very daunting because one doesn’t know how to provide the best care for the ailing family members. Thankfully Veronica has all the answers and connections! She helped me find from the assisting living facility, lawyer, movers, to hospice care and I have had excellent service with all her recommendations. North Star Senior Advisors is the place to help you find the best team to help care for your loved ones!"

"What a lovely company. I was having the hardest time finding an assisted living facility for my mother for months. Veronica was able to find an amazing place for my mother within 2 weeks. Not only was it in our budget, but the location is close to my home allowing me to see her as often as possible. The food is good and the staff is super friendly. I do NOT know what I would have done without Veronica and North Star."

I have had the pleasure of working with Veronica & Ignacio on more than one occasion and they exceed my expectations each time. They are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to finding an appropriate placement for clients and they take their time with clients to ensure they're experience is a good one. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is searching for a home for a loved one as navigating the assisted/independent living search can be overwhelming. They are your best advocate.
